Easy Vegan Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients 
This banana peanut butter & date smoothie is a healthy alternative to curb your sweet tooth! Sweetened naturally with dates, this smoothie is going to be your new favorite "dessert!"

  • 1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
  • 4-5 pitted dates
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter or powdered peanut butter (healthier version)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup ice
  • Optional: your favorite protein powder. I recommend Vega vanilla or chocolate flavored so it doesn' affect the flavor of this smoothie too much.
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Place all ingredients into a power blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until smooth. If you like it thinner, add more almond milk.
