Since I’m primarily vegan, and so many of my friends and family are switching to vegan diets, I thought it would be great to do a post of my top 5 vegan restaurants in Orange County! Easy Vegan Smoothie Recipe Ingredients  This banana peanut butter & date smoothie is a healthy alternative to curb your sweet tooth! Sweetened naturally with dates, this smoothie is going to be your new favorite "dessert!" INGREDIENTS Report this ad 1   cup   unsweetened plain almond milk 4-5   pitted dates 1   frozen banana 2   tablespoons   natural creamy peanut butter or powdered peanut butter (healthier version) 1/4 - 1/2   cup   ice Optional: your favorite protein powder. I recommend Vega vanilla or chocolate flavored so it doesn' affect the flavor of this smoothie too much. INSTRUCTIONS Place all ingredients into a power blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until smooth. If you like it thinner, add more almond milk. Enjoy your delicious smoothie
